MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album the year following. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which featured the hit single La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born in a home with a music program. His parents and brothers were both musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about playing music as an obligation.
